Here’s a delicious and easy Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls recipe that’s perfect for a weeknight dinner or party appetizer:


🧀 Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls

Servings: 8 rolls

Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes


🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1 (8-count) can of refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie works great!)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of cheddar and mozzarella)

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tbsp sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions or parsley (optional)

  • 1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)

  • Optional: 1–2 tbsp grated Parmesan for topping


🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  2. Make the Filling:
    In a medium bowl, combine:

    • Shredded chicken

    • Cream cheese

    • Shredded cheddar

    • Sour cream (if using)

    • Garlic powder

    • Onion powder

    • Salt and pepper

    • Green onions/parsley (optional)
      Mix until well blended.

  3. Assemble Rolls:
    Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
    Spoon 1–2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
    Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end and rolling to the tip.

  4. Bake:
    Place rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
    Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan (if using).
    Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. Serve:
    Serve warm with ranch, buffalo sauce, or marinara for dipping!


📝 Tips:

  • Add cooked bacon bits for a smoky twist.

  • Swap in cooked turkey or ham for variety.

  • Use spicy pepper jack cheese if you want a kick.
