Here’s a delicious “Marry Me Salmon” recipe—a creamy, savory, and slightly spicy dish that’s known to win hearts! It’s a salmon twist on the popular “Marry Me Chicken” recipe. Rich with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and cream, this dish is perfect for a romantic dinner or a showstopper meal.


💍 Marry Me Salmon Recipe

🐟 Ingredients:

For the Salmon:

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless, ~6 oz each)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

For the Sauce:

  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

  • ¾ cup chicken or vegetable broth

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ⅓ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes (in oil, drained)

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)


🔥 Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Salmon:

    • Pat the salmon dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.

    • Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Sear the salmon fillets, skin-side down first (if using skin-on), for about 4 minutes per side until golden and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove and set aside.

  2. Make the Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

    • Stir in red pepper flakes and sun-dried tomatoes, cooking for 1–2 minutes.

    • Pour in the broth and scrape any browned bits from the pan. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

    • Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer gently for another 2–3 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.

  3. Combine:

    • Return the salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top.

    • Simmer for 2–3 more minutes to let the flavors meld. Add fresh basil just before serving.


🍽️ Serving Ideas:

  • Over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice

  • With roasted vegetables or sautéed spinach
