Posted on July 3, 2025

Here’s a RICE KRISPIE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES recipe that’s chewy, crispy, and packed with chocolatey goodness:

🍪 Rice Krispie Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal

  • 1½ – 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • Optional: 1 cup chopped nuts (like walnuts or pecans)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).

  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.

  6. Fold in the Rice Krispies, chocolate chips, and optional nuts until evenly distributed.

  7. Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place on the prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.

  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.

  9. Let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

👩‍🍳 Tips:

  • For extra chewy cookies, slightly underbake and let them finish setting on the tray.

  • Want a fun twist? Use mini marshmallows or white chocolate chips instead of regular chips.
