Reese’s Peanut Butter Banana Bread

Here’s a delicious Reese’s Peanut Butter Banana Bread recipe that combines the rich flavor of ripe bananas with creamy peanut butter and chunks of Reese’s candies for a sweet, indulgent treat:

Ingredients:

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 ¾ cups (220g) all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter

  • ½ cup brown sugar (light or dark)

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 very ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 to 1½ cups)

Add-ins:

  • 1 cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (plus extra for topping)

  • Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips or Reese’s Pieces


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

  3. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs, vanilla, and mashed bananas until fully combined.

  4. Combine: Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined—don’t overmix. Fold in chopped Reese’s and optional chocolate chips.

  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle extra chopped Reese’s on top.

  6. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean (a few melted chocolate streaks are okay).

  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • For extra peanut butter flavor, swirl an extra tablespoon of peanut butter on top before baking.

  • Store leftovers tightly wrapped at room temp for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
