Here’s a Crispy Cheesy Cauliflower Bites recipe that’s easy to make, super satisfying, and perfect as a snack, appetizer, or side dish.


🧀 Crispy Cheesy Cauliflower Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower (cut into bite-sized florets)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix like cheddar + mozzarella)

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  2. Steam or blanch cauliflower florets for about 2–3 minutes until just slightly tender. Drain and pat dry thoroughly with a paper towel.

  3. Mix the coating:

    • In one bowl, beat the eggs.

    • In a second bowl, combine breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  4. Coat the cauliflower:

    • Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg, then coat it in the breadcrumb-cheese mixture. Press the coating on firmly.

  5. Arrange on baking sheet in a single layer, leaving space between each floret.

  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  7. Optional Air Fryer Method:

    • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10–15 minutes, shaking halfway, until crisp.

  8. Garnish with parsley and serve with dipping sauces like ranch, spicy mayo, or marinara.


🔁 Variations & Tips:

  • Add a pinch of cayenne or chili flakes for heat.

  • Use almond flour or gluten-free breadcrumbs for a GF version.

  • Great as a make-ahead appetizer – reheat in oven/air fryer for crispiness.
