πŸ‘ Slow Cooker Peach Cobbler

Servings: 6–8
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 2.5–3 hours (on high) or 4–5 hours (on low)

πŸ“ Ingredients

  • 2 cans (15 oz each) sliced peaches in juice, drained (or use 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced)

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 box yellow or white cake mix (15.25 oz)

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • Optional: vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, for serving

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Instructions

  1. Prepare the slow cooker:

    • Lightly grease the inside of a 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray or a little butter.

  2. Layer the peaches:

    • Add the drained peaches to the bottom of the slow cooker.

    • Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract (if using). Stir gently to combine.

  3. Add the cake mix:

    • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peach mixture. Do not stir.

  4. Add the butter:

    • Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix. Try to cover as much of the surface as possible.

  5. Cook:

    • Cover and cook on high for 2.5–3 hours or low for 4–5 hours, until the top is golden and the peaches are bubbly.

  6. Serve:

    • Spoon into bowls and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.

πŸ” Variations

  • Fresh or frozen peaches: Use 4 cups of peeled, sliced peaches. If using frozen, thaw and drain excess liquid.

  • Spice it up: Add a pinch of nutmeg or a splash of bourbon to the peaches for a warm twist.

  • Make it crispier: Uncover for the last 30 minutes to help the topping firm up.
