Here’s a Bacon Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin recipe that’s savory, sweet, and incredibly juicy—perfect for a weeknight dinner or special occasion.


🥓 Bacon Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin Recipe

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1.5–2 lbs pork tenderloin (trimmed)

  • 8–10 slices of bacon (enough to wrap the tenderloin)

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)

  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard or whole grain mustard

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional, for depth)

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional, for garnish)


🔪 Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top (optional for even cooking).

  2. Make the Glaze:
    In a small bowl, mix:

    • 1/4 cup brown sugar

    • 2 tbsp mustard

    • 1 tbsp olive oil

    • 1 tsp garlic powder

    • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

    • Salt & pepper to taste

  3. Prepare the Pork:

    • Pat the tenderloin dry with paper towels.

    • Rub the glaze mixture all over the pork.

  4. Wrap with Bacon:

    • Wrap the bacon strips around the tenderloin, tucking the ends underneath or securing with toothpicks. Slightly overlap the slices for a nice crust.

    • You can brush a little extra glaze over the bacon if desired.

  5. Bake:

    • Place on the prepared rack or baking sheet.

    • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temp reaches 145°F (63°C).

    • If bacon isn’t crispy enough, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end, watching closely.

  6. Rest and Serve:

    • Let the pork rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.

    • Garnish with chopped herbs if using.

  • Mashed potatoes or roasted sweet potatoes

  • Garlic green beans or Brussels sprouts

  • Apple chutney or a crisp apple slaw on the side
