🧂 Ingredients

For the Fries:

  • 1 lb frozen or fresh French fries (crinkle-cut or regular)

  • Vegetable oil for frying (or bake/air fry as preferred)

For the Cajun Seasoning:

  • 1 tsp paprika (preferably smoked)

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to heat preference)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ¼ tsp oregano

  • ¼ tsp thyme

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp salt

For the Toppings:

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (sharp is best)

  • ¼ cup melted nacho cheese sauce (optional but classic)

  • 2 tbsp ranch dressing

  • Chopped green onions or parsley (optional, for garnish)


🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare Fries:

    • Cook fries according to package directions (deep fry, bake, or air fry) until golden and crispy.

    • While hot, toss with your prepared Cajun seasoning.

  2. Melt Cheese:

    • If using shredded cheese, melt in the microwave or over low heat with a little milk for smoothness.

    • Nacho cheese sauce can be heated separately.

  3. Assemble:

    • Place seasoned fries on a serving plate.

    • Drizzle melted cheese and/or nacho cheese sauce over fries.

    • Drizzle ranch dressing over the top.

    • Garnish with green onions or parsley if desired.


📝 Tips

  • Want it spicier? Add more cayenne or a dash of hot sauce.
