Pineapple Ginger Shots are a fantastic way to start your day or to boost your immune system! They’re packed with vitamin C, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory properties that are perfect for giving you an energy kick and helping with digestion.

Here’s a simple recipe to make your own Pineapple Ginger Shots:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, peeled and chopped

  • 1-2 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric (optional for extra anti-inflammatory benefits)

  • 1/2 cup water (or coconut water for extra hydration)

  • 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on your sweetness preference)

  • A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for a little extra kick)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Peel and chop the pineapple, ginger, and if using, the lemon.

  2. Juice or Blend: If you have a juicer, simply juice the pineapple and ginger together. If you’re using a blender, add all the ingredients (pineapple, ginger, lemon juice, turmeric, honey, water, and cayenne) into the blender and blend until smooth.

  3. Strain (if necessary): If you used a blender, strain the juice using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the pulp. You want a smooth, concentrated shot.

  4. Taste and Adjust: Taste the shot. If it’s too tangy or spicy, add a little more honey or a touch more water. You can also adjust the cayenne pepper for heat.

  5. Serve: Pour the juice into small shot glasses and serve immediately. You can also store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
