Fruity Pebbles Breakfast Bread

Posted on June 24, 2025

Here’s a fun and delicious recipe for Fruity Pebbles Breakfast Bread that’s perfect for a sweet and colorful breakfast treat:

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup Fruity Pebbles cereal (plus extra for topping)

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ cup sugar

  • ½ cup milk

  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)

  • ¼ cup rainbow sprinkles (optional, for extra fun!)

Directions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan (8×4 inches).

  2. Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and 1 cup of Fruity Pebbles.

  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until smooth. Add the milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and sour cream, and mix until well combined.

  4. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.

  5. Fold in Extra Fruity Pebbles: Gently fold in about ½ cup of Fruity Pebbles into the batter (you can add more if you like it extra crunchy).

  6. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Sprinkle the top of the batter with a few extra Fruity Pebbles for a fun, crunchy topping.

  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes: Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean. If the top is browning too quickly, cover it with aluminum foil for the last 10 minutes of baking.

  8. Cool and Serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Tips:

  • You can add a glaze or drizzle made from powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for an extra sweet touch.

  • For an even more indulgent treat, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top.
