Ingredients:
-
1 lb (450g) chicken tenders
-
3 tbsp olive oil
-
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 tbsp dried oregano (or 1 ½ tbsp fresh oregano, chopped)
-
1 tsp dried thyme (optional)
-
1 tsp ground cumin (optional)
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
-
Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Marinade:
-
In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, thyme, cumin, salt, and pepper.
-
Whisk everything together until well combined.
-
-
Marinate the Chicken:
-
Place the chicken tenders in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
-
Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated.
-
Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours. For best results, marinate for 4 hours or overnight.
-
-
Grill the Chicken:
-
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).
-
Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent the chicken from sticking.
-
Remove the chicken tenders from the marinade and place them on the grill.
-
Grill the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), and the tenders are golden brown and slightly charred.
-
-
Serve:
-
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
-
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
