Cheesy Burrata Crostini with Prosciutto and Peaches

Ingredients:

  • Baguette (1, sliced into thin pieces)

  • Burrata cheese (1 ball)

  • Prosciutto (6-8 slices)

  • Peaches (2, ripe but firm, sliced thinly)

  • Honey (1 tbsp)

  • Fresh basil leaves (a few leaves, optional)

  • Olive oil (for brushing)

  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

  • Balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crostini:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    • Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange them on a baking sheet.

    • Brush each slice with a little olive oil.

    • Toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy.

  2. Assemble the Crostini:

    • Slice the burrata cheese into smaller pieces or tear it into chunks.

    • On each toasted baguette slice, place a generous spoonful of burrata.

    • Add a slice of prosciutto over the burrata.

    • Top with a few slices of fresh peach.

  3. Finishing Touches:

    • Drizzle a little honey over the crostini for sweetness.

    • Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and freshly cracked black pepper.

    • Optionally, drizzle with balsamic glaze for an extra burst of flavor.

    • Garnish with fresh basil leaves for a burst of freshness.
