Here’s a festive and delicious Shamrock Mint Milkshake Pie recipe — perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or any minty craving!


🥧 Shamrock Mint Milkshake Pie

Ingredients

For the Crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (like Oreos, finely crushed)

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

For the Filling:
  • 1 pint (2 cups) vanilla ice cream, slightly softened

  • 1/2 cup whole milk

  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract (more or less to taste)

  • Green food coloring (a few drops, optional)

  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

  • Optional: 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips or crushed mint candies

For Garnish (Optional):
  • Whipped cream

  • Chocolate shavings or chips

  • Green sprinkles or mint leaves


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:

    • Mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until well combined.

    • Press firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.

    • Freeze for 15 minutes to set.

  2. Make the Filling:

    • In a large bowl, blend the softened vanilla ice cream, milk, peppermint extract, and green food coloring until smooth.

    • Gently fold in the whipped topping and mini chocolate chips or crushed candies if using.

    • Pour the mixture into the frozen crust and smooth the top.

  3. Freeze the Pie:

    • Freeze the pie for at least 4 hours, or until completely firm.

  4. Serve:

    • Let sit at room temperature for about 5–10 minutes before slicing.

    • Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and sprinkles as desired.


✅ Tips:

  • Want it extra minty? Add crushed Andes mints or use mint chocolate chip ice cream.

  • Make it boozy: add a tablespoon of crème de menthe or Irish cream.
