Lemon, Cumin, Dates & Figs Spoonful

Here’s a simple and healthy daily recipe using lemon, cumin, dates, and figs, with about 1 spoon (tablespoon) each per day. This combo is great for digestion, energy, and overall wellness!


Lemon, Cumin, Dates & Figs Spoonful Recipe

Ingredients (per day):

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)

  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds (or ground cumin)

  • 1 tablespoon chopped dates (preferably soft, pitted)

  • 1 tablespoon chopped dried figs


Preparation Steps:

  1. Toast cumin seeds (if using whole seeds):

    • Heat a small pan over medium heat.

    • Add cumin seeds and toast lightly for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.

    • Let cool, then grind into a powder using a mortar and pestle or spice grinder.

    • If you have ground cumin, you can skip this step.

  2. Chop dates and figs:

    • Use soft, pitted dates and dried figs.

    • Chop finely so they mix well with the lemon juice.

  3. Mix everything:

    • In a small bowl, combine the lemon juice, ground cumin, chopped dates, and chopped figs.

    • Stir well to create a slightly thick paste.


How to Use:

  • Take one spoonful daily on an empty stomach in the morning.

  • You can swallow it as is or mix it into a small glass of warm water for easier intake.

  • Optionally, you can add a teaspoon of honey if you want it sweeter.
