Cotton Candy Cheesecake

Here’s a fun and delicious Cotton Candy Cheesecake recipe that combines the creamy texture of cheesecake with the whimsical flavor of cotton candy:


🎂 Cotton Candy Cheesecake Recipe

🍰 Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs (or cotton candy-flavored cookies, crushed)

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Cheesecake Filling:

  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp cotton candy flavoring (LorAnn Oils or similar)

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • Pink and blue gel food coloring (or liquid, if preferred)

Optional Toppings:

  • Whipped cream

  • Sprinkles

  • Cotton candy (for garnish – add just before serving)


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).

  • Grease a 9-inch springform pan and wrap the outside with foil (to prevent water bath leaks).

2. Make the Crust

  • Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl.

  • Press the mixture into the bottom of the pan firmly.

  • Bake for 8–10 minutes, then let cool.

3. Prepare the Cheesecake Batter

  • Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

  • Add sugar, vanilla, and cotton candy flavoring; mix until combined.

  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add sour cream and mix until smooth.

4. Color and Swirl

  • Divide the batter into two bowls. Tint one pink and the other blue.

  • Alternate spoonfuls of each color onto the crust, then swirl gently with a knife or skewer to create a marble effect.

5. Bake

  • Place the springform pan in a larger roasting pan. Fill with hot water halfway up the sides.

  • Bake for 60–70 minutes or until the center is slightly jiggly.

  • Turn off oven, crack the door, and let cool in the oven for 1 hour.

6. Chill

  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

7. Decorate and Serve

  • Top with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a puff of cotton candy just before serving.
