Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Here’s a simple and delicious Roasted Brussels Sprouts recipe:


🥦 Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients:

  • 1½ lbs Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • ¾ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced, optional)

  • 1–2 tsp balsamic vinegar or lemon juice (optional, for finishing)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Prep the Sprouts:
    Trim the stem ends and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Cut each sprout in half lengthwise.

  3. Season:
    In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic (if using). Mix until evenly coated.

  4. Arrange on a Baking Sheet:
    Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut-side down for the best caramelization.

  5. Roast:
    Roast in the oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until they’re golden brown and crispy on the edges.

  6. Finish (optional):
    Right out of the oven, drizzle with balsamic vinegar or lemon juice for a bright, tangy finish.


🔄 Optional Add-ins:

  • Parmesan cheese (sprinkle after roasting)

  • Bacon bits

  • Chili flakes for heat

  • Maple syrup for sweetness
