Hamburger Potato Casserole
Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

4 cups frozen hash brown potatoes (shredded or diced)

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken soup)

1 cup sour cream

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)

1/2 cup milk

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Optional: 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn), drained
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Add the frozen hash browns, cooked beef & onions, and 1 cup of shredded cheese (reserve the other cup for topping). If using, fold in the mixed vegetables.
