Banana Bread

Here’s a classic and delicious banana bread recipe:


🍌 Classic Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1/3 cup melted butter

  • 3/4 cup sugar (you can reduce to 1/2 cup for less sweetness)

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Optional Add-ins:

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8-inch loaf pan.

  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.

  3. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.

  4. Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.

  5. Sprinkle in the baking soda and salt, then mix.

  6. Stir in the flour until just combined (don’t overmix).

  7. Fold in any optional add-ins like nuts or chocolate chips.

  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

  9. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  10. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
