Here’s a simple and delicious Sausage Crescent Rolls recipe—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a savory snack:


🧑‍🍳 Sausage Crescent Rolls

📝 Ingredients:

  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough (8-count)

  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or your choice)

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or any cheese you like)

  • Optional: 1 tablespoon cream cheese (softened, for extra creaminess)

  • Optional: 1 egg (for egg wash, makes them golden and shiny)

🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.

  3. Mix sausage & cheese: In a bowl, combine the cooked sausage with shredded cheddar cheese. Add a tablespoon of cream cheese if using, and mix until combined.

  4. Prepare crescent rolls: Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.

  5. Fill and roll: Place about 1 tablespoon of sausage-cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll up the crescent from the wide end to the point, wrapping the filling inside.

  6. Optional egg wash: Beat the egg and lightly brush it over the tops for a golden finish.

  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.

  8. Cool slightly and serve!


🧀 Variations:

  • Add diced jalapeños for a spicy kick.

  • Use mozzarella and Italian sausage for a pizza-style twist.

  • Swap sausage for bacon or ham.
