🦞 Garlic Butter Lobster Tails
Ingredients (for 4 lobster tails):
-
4 lobster tails (6-8 oz each)
-
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
-
1 tsp paprika
-
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
-
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Lobster Tails:
-
Preheat your oven’s broiler (or grill) on high.
-
Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut down the top shell of each lobster tail (lengthwise) without cutting the meat.
-
Gently pull the lobster meat upward, out of the shell, but keep it attached at the tail end. Rest the meat on top of the shell.
2. Make Garlic Butter:
-
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Brush Lobster:
-
Place lobster tails on a baking sheet.
-
Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the lobster meat.
4. Broil:
-
Broil lobster tails about 8-12 minutes, depending on size, until lobster meat is opaque and slightly browned on top.
-
Brush with additional garlic butter halfway through cooking for extra flavor.
5. Garnish & Serve:
-
Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
-
Serve immediately with lemon wedges and extra garlic butter on the side.
Tips:
-
Don’t overcook — lobster meat should be tender, not rubbery.
-
For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
-
Serve alongside steamed veggies, rice, or crusty bread.
