Apple Salad

🍎 Classic Apple Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well), chopped

  • 1 stalk celery, sliced

  • 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional: toast for extra flavor)

  • 1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries

  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt or mayonnaise (or a mix of both)

  • 1 tsp lemon juice (prevents browning and adds tang)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: a drizzle of honey for added sweetness

Instructions:

  1. Prep the apples: Wash and chop them into bite-sized pieces. Toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.

  2. Combine ingredients: In a bowl, mix apples, celery, nuts, and dried fruit.

  3. Make the dressing: In a separate bowl, mix yogurt (or mayo), a bit of honey if desired, salt, and pepper.

  4. Mix everything together: Toss the salad with the dressing until well coated.

  5. Chill and serve: Let it sit in the fridge for 10–15 minutes before serving for best flavor.
