A Coconut and Condensed Milk Dessert is creamy, sweet, and incredibly comforting! Here’s a simple recipe for a delicious Coconut Pudding that’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Coconut and Condensed Milk Dessert (Coconut Pudding)

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14 oz) coconut milk (full fat for creaminess)

  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 1/4 cup cornstarch

  • 1/4 cup water (to dissolve cornstarch)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • Toasted shredded coconut or fresh coconut flakes for garnish (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Mix the thickener:
    In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until fully dissolved. Set aside.

  2. Combine liquids:
    In a medium saucepan, combine the coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, and sugar. Stir well.

  3. Heat the mixture:
    Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is warm (not boiling).

  4. Add the cornstarch slurry:
    Slowly pour in the cornstarch mixture while stirring constantly to prevent lumps.

  5. Cook until thickened:
    Continue to stir the mixture for 5-7 minutes until it thickens to a pudding-like consistency.

  6. Add vanilla:
    Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract if using.

  7. Pour and chill:
    Pour the pudding into serving bowls or a single dish. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until fully set.

  8. Garnish and serve:
    Before serving, sprinkle toasted shredded coconut or fresh coconut flakes on top for extra texture and flavor.
