Tuna Melt Patties (Low Carb)
Ingredients:

2 cans tuna in water, drained

1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 large egg
-
2 tbsp almond flour (or coconut flour)

2 tbsp finely chopped onion (optional)

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or dill (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil (for frying)

Optional: a few slices of tomato or extra cheese for topping
Instructions:

Mix the patties: In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, shredded cheese, mayonnaise, egg, almond flour, onion, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything binds together.

Form patties: Shape the mixture into 4 medium-sized patties.

Cook: Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Optional topping: If you want to melt some extra cheese on top, add a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover the skillet to melt it.
