Here’s a Garlic Butter Bacon Cheeseburger Rollups recipe — a mouthwatering twist on a classic burger, all rolled up in buttery, garlicky dough. Perfect as a main dish or party snack.

🧄🧈 Garlic Butter Bacon Cheeseburger Rollups

📝 Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef

  • 6 slices bacon, chopped

  • 1 small onion, finely diced

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp ketchup (optional)

  • 1 tbsp mustard (optional)

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese blend)

For the Dough:

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll sheet (or homemade dough)

  • Flour (for rolling)

For the Garlic Butter:

  • ¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare the Filling

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.

  2. Drain most of the bacon grease, leaving about 1 tablespoon in the pan.

  3. Add the onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until translucent.

  4. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  5. Once browned and fully cooked, drain any excess grease.

  6. Stir in ketchup and mustard if using, and cook for 1 more minute.

  7. Turn off heat, stir in cheddar cheese and cooked bacon. Let the mixture cool slightly.

2. Roll Out the Dough

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Lightly flour your surface and roll out the dough into a rectangle (roughly 10×14 inches).

  3. Evenly spread the beef mixture over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border around the edges.

3. Roll & Slice

  1. Starting from the long side, tightly roll up the dough like a jelly roll.

  2. Pinch the seam to seal and place seam-side down.

  3. Slice into 1 to 1.5 inch thick rollups (like cinnamon rolls).

  4. Place each roll on the baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.

4. Make the Garlic Butter

  1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and Parmesan (if using).

5. Bake

  1. Brush the tops of the rollups generously with garlic butter.

  2. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

6. Final Touch

  • Optional: Brush with more garlic butter right after baking for extra flavor and shine.

  • Let cool slightly before serving.

🍽️ Serving Suggestions

  • Serve with dipping sauces: ranch, burger sauce, BBQ, or spicy mayo.

  • Pair with fries, coleslaw, or a green salad for a full meal.

🔄 Variations

  • Add pickles, jalapeños, or sautéed mushrooms to the filling.

  • Use different cheeses: pepper jack, mozzarella, or Swiss.

  • Make it spicy: add chili flakes, hot sauce, or chipotle powder to the beef.

🧊 Storage & Reheating

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

  • Reheat in the oven or air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5–8 minutes until warm and crisp.
