Here’s aย  recipe for a creamy, no-bake dessert using very simple and easy-to-find ingredients. It’s a Creamy Biscuit Puddingโ€”rich, delicious, and super easy to make!


๐Ÿฎ Creamy Biscuit Pudding (No-Bake)

โœ… Ingredients:

(Serves 4-6 people)

  • Milk โ€“ 2 cups (500 ml)

  • Sugar โ€“ 5 tablespoons (adjust to taste)

  • Cornflour (cornstarch) โ€“ 3 tablespoons

  • Vanilla essence โ€“ 1 teaspoon

  • Butter โ€“ 1 tablespoon (optional, for extra richness)

  • Tea biscuits / Marie biscuits โ€“ 15-20 pieces

  • Cocoa powder / Instant coffee โ€“ 2 tablespoons (for dipping liquid)

  • Warm water or milk โ€“ 1/2 cup (for biscuit dipping)

  • Grated chocolate or nuts โ€“ for topping (optional)

  • Saucepan

  • Whisk or spoon

  • Bowl for dipping biscuits

  • Serving dish (glass dish preferred for layering)


๐Ÿ”ช Step-by-Step Instructions:

๐Ÿฅฃ Step 1: Prepare the Cream (Custard Base)

  1. In a saucepan, mix milk, sugar, and cornflour (cornstarch) while the milk is still cold.

  2. Whisk well to make sure there are no lumps.

  3. Place the pan on medium heat and cook, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

  4. After 5โ€“7 minutes, the mixture will thicken into a smooth custard.

  5. Turn off the heat and stir in vanilla essence and butter (if using).

  6. Let it cool slightly, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming.


โ˜• Step 2: Prepare Biscuit Layer

  1. In a small bowl, mix warm milk or water with cocoa powder or instant coffee to make a light dipping liquid.

  2. Quickly dip each biscuit into the liquid (just 1โ€“2 seconds, donโ€™t let it soak too long or itโ€™ll fall apart).

  3. Place a layer of dipped biscuits in your serving dish.

  1. After the first biscuit layer, pour some of the warm custard cream over it and spread evenly.

  2. Repeat layers: biscuits โ†’ custard โ†’ biscuits โ†’ custard, until everything is used up.

  3. Finish with a layer of custard on top.

  1. Optionally, top with grated chocolate, chopped nuts, or a dusting of cocoa powder.

  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2โ€“3 hours, or until fully set and chilled.
