3-Ingredient Butter Cookies

Here’s a super simple recipe for 3-Ingredient Butter Cookies:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

  2. Cream the butter and powdered sugar together in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy. You can use an electric mixer or beat by hand with a whisk.

  3. Add the flour gradually, mixing until everything is fully incorporated into a dough. It might be a little crumbly, but that’s okay. If it’s too dry, you can add a tiny bit of milk (about a teaspoon at a time).

  4. Shape the dough into small balls (about 1-inch in diameter). Place them on the prepared baking sheet and gently press each one with the back of a fork or your fingers to flatten slightly.

  5. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges start to turn golden brown.

  6. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Optional:

  • You can sprinkle a little sugar on top before baking, or add a dash of vanilla extract if you want to jazz them up a bit.
